  • Emily Ryan

    Founding Partner

    Emily Ryan is a founding partner of Loop Head Distillers, inspired by her lifelong connection to West Clare Starting a aget 12, her family's trips to Carrigaholt sparked her deep appreciation for the area, shaping her future. Emily honed her skills at The Long Dock, Carrigaholt's acclaimed pub and restaurant, learning the trade from Chef Danielle Sequin and publican Pat Gavin. She further developed her passion for Irish ecotourism as a deckhand on the Dolphin Watch Carrigaholt boat, the Draiocht, under the guidance of Jeff and Sue Magee.

    In 2000, Emily crossed the Atlantic aboard the Irish National Training Vessel Asgard II as part of the Tall Ships 2000 Fleet. She later pursued a degree in Business with a Marketing focus at the University of Limerick, supporting her late father, Larry Ryan, in launching Banner Tours. After returning to the U.S., Emily embarked on a 22-year career in the adult beverage industry, working with some of the world’s most prestigious brands. She is also a dedicated mother to her 13-year-old daughter Molly and recently married Mark Bradford, living in Las Vegas, NV.

  • Keith Taylor

    Founding Partner

    Keith R. Taylor, co-founder of Loop Head Distillers, brings a diverse background shaped by a love for nature and a passion for storytelling. Raised in coastal Texas, Keith grew up immersed in equestrian life and the outdoors, which instilled in him a deep appreciation for animals and the environment. Alongside this, his lifelong hobbies, including video games and Dungeons & Dragons, fostered creativity and a love for tradition.

    With degrees in Theology and Counseling from Ozark Christian College, Keith transitioned to the service industry, where he worked in nearly every facet, from running restaurants and bars to collaborating with major distributors. His extensive experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of hospitality, customer service, and the beverage industry. At Loop Head Distillers, Keith aims to blend his love for tradition and craftsmanship, building a brand that values community, sustainability, and local growth.

  • Alan Troy

    Director of Irish Affairs

    As Director of Irish Affairs, Alan Troy is responsible for fostering key relationships with local communities, government bodies, and industry organizations throughout Ireland. He ensures Loop Head Distillers aligns with Irish regulations, cultural initiatives, and sustainability goals. Alan also oversees partnerships with local farmers, tourism initiatives, and regional distributors to strengthen the distillery's ties to Ireland’s heritage and economy, while promoting the brand domestically and internationally.
